Associate Pastor for Programs and Engagement
From the church’s website:
Located at the center of a thriving university town, Davis Community Church seeks to offer a true “commons” for people from all walks of life—a faith community that brings together the spiritual and the material, the religious and the non-religious. As we seek to remain alive and relevant in today’s rapidly changing world, our congregation of nearly 600 people has taken bold steps to shape a vision and strategy to become a robust center for spiritual formation, human transformation, and contemplative activism.
We seek a pastoral partner who will work alongside our talented leaders and staff, helping us increase diversity, foster new avenues of access for culturally non-dominant peoples, and embody the ways Jesus challenged the assumptions, structures, and systems of power and privilege that create injustice, oppression, and abuse.
Committed to full inclusion, we are eager to receive applications for people drawn to ministry within a dynamic downtown and university setting, and we invite conversations with LGBTQ individuals, women, and people of color. For more information, our Mission Study is available HERE and our MIF is available on the CLC website.
