Workshops at Montreat College Conference

Look out for Alex and Joey at the Montreat College Conference! Be sure to visit our booth and pick up some great swag to share with your campus ministry. Alex will be leading a workshop on skills to find common language and build relationship in tough conversations. Joey will be leading a workshop on owning power and privilege in advocacy work and strategies to center those most impacted by injustice. HKonJ: Historic Thousands on Jones St

The coalition behind HKonJ has brought together many different groups of people to work toward a common goal of “liberty and justice for all.” The Moral March on Raleigh is part of a love and justice movement. Click here to learn more about HKonJ.

Faith Forward: LGBTQ Advocacy Training

A gathering of LGBTQ people of faith and allies will explore opportunities to build skills and resources grounded in racial and gender justice to empower affirming religious communities to combat discrimination in North Carolina. Affirming congregations have the opportunity to be examples of a more equal and inclusive community. Come together and engage with folks of every walk of life knowing that we are strongest when we learn, grow, heal, and build movements together proclaiming that our faith affirms the lives of all LGBTQ people.
