Rev. Paul Burgess (he/him/él)

Rev. Paul Burgess (he/him/él) is currently wrapping up a pastoral residency that serves two communities in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina: Cary Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Campus Ministry at UNC-Chapel Hill. When that contract ends this summer, he and his Beloved, Maggie, will be moving to Ravenna, Italy, where she will be enrolling in a two-year graduate program. In addition to being a campus minister and a pastor in the PC(USA), Paul has at various points in his life been a middle school English teacher, a Boy Scout, a Girl Scout, a soccer referee, a camp counselor, a retiree, an expat, and an actor. He cares deeply about immigration issues and de-segregating the Church, and can often be found listening to Irish music and playing board games.
