In its beginning, the congregation of Immanuel Presbyterian Church adopted a mission statement which included the words, “called to be a sanctuary of welcome for all people”. Long supportive of More Light Presbyterians, active in the community as advocates, the congregation felt its calling wide and deep, but never actually signed on as a member of More Light. In today’s climate, we feel it is vitally important at this time to do so, thus we submit our request!
