Biography
PCLT has a history of welcoming LGBTQIA+ individuals into the congregation. In 2019, the congregation called The Rev. Dr. Jack Barden as its pastor. Rev. Barden is an out gay pastor; he and his husband were welcomed openly. In January, 2020, the Outreach Committee asked the Session to state their welcome explicitly by becoming a More Light Congregation. The Session agreed.
