Several members of our Outreach team began the process by asking Session to explore the topic of inclusion. The book “Jesus, the Bible and Homosexuality” by Jack Rogers was chosen. Session studied it, then a Thursday night congregational group, and finally the whole church through a sermon series called Let There Be Light. The Outreach team then worked on a Statement of Inclusion that was adopted by unanimous vote of the congregation, alongside a decision to join More Light.
