Interim Executive Director Patrick Evans will be on the road, leading worship and gatherings for reflection and discussion on MLP’s work and mission in Baltimore, Washington, Eastern Tennessee, Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, Boston and many other places. Included in this tour are presbytery events, preaching and teaching at Presbyterian colleges and seminaries, and support for More Light Churches, historic and fledgling. He has been on the road with our ecumenical LGBT allies in Minneapolis and Cleveland, was part of the TransFaith in Color Conference in Charlotte, met with MLP folks in Delaware and Pres Promise folks in Connecticut, and shared a lively booth with board member Jeananne Stine at the Presbyterian Women gathering in Orlando. Check out his schedule, and spread the word!
All events are open to anyone who supports the full inclusion of LGBT people in the PCUSA and society, whether you are an MLP member or not. Please invite friends from PCUSA congregations and supportive folks from other denominations. Bring a friend, pack a pew. Where there are potlucks, join us whether you can bring a dish or not. Feel free to join us for the worship and meeting, if you can’t make the potluck. This schedule will be updated throughout the Fall.
